Dear Binyan Adei Ad Faculty and Donors, I hope this letter finds you well. First and foremost, I wish to express our heartfelt appreciation for your generous care and concern and the gracious way we were treated when we arrived in your office to seek assistance. We were greeted with warmth, honor, and true loving-kindness. Second, thank you so much for the gift itself. Throughout the past few years, when my late husband, may he rest in peace, was stricken with difficult, painful illness, we lived a life of abject poverty. Not only was my husband unable to provide for us, but we were also forced to contend with the tremendous pressure of covering the costly medical bills. I did my best to undertake the financial obligations in our home in order to minimize his suffering, but it was very difficult-and our family suffered the pains of hunger during this period. You rose to our aid, and helped us throughout this trying period. Thank you so much for your generous gift, which lessened some of the pain and burdens of these difficult times.
