To The Dear Nation of Hashem, Our Brothers Bnei Yisrael, Nation of Lovingkindness:

I approach you with these words, appealing that you rise to the aid and assistance of the revered community activist, Rabbi Eliyahu Bunin, shlit"a, who accepted upon himself the yoke of this munificent organization which performs wonders in our city of Jerusalem, may she be speedily rebuilt. "Bikur Cholim-Yad Avraham", which is under the auspices of the illustrious Rabbi Shimon Brown, shlit"a, grants aid to the sick and ailing in our community. Rabbi Brown spends day and night toiling on behalf of the ill, both in the realms of medical counseling and referrals and in granting emotional and financial assistance to them and their suffering families.

Rabbi Eliyahu Bunin, sheyiche, undertook to abet this magnificent operation in order to allow for the expansion and enhancement of their sacred efforts on behalf of our brothers in distress. It would be superfluous to detail the supreme workings of this generous organization which is active in rescuing Jewish lives everyday.

Thus, I hereby approach all my brothers with the sincere request that you donate to this wonderful organization so it will be able to continue financing its operations and expanding its endeavors. Tragically, the desperate medical needs of the sick of our nation are many, too vast for the organization to process and assist. Hence, in the place where there is no man, Chazal instruct one to be a man; and certainly in this critical situation of saving Jewish lives.

Indeed, "One who rescues one soul in Israel is as if one perpetuated an entire world", and is destined for infinite, eternal reward. Therefore, I call and beseech to the members of my nation, my brethren in all cities and lands: Our brothers are crying tearfully for your help! Please aid them and become partners in the sacred mitzvos performed by the illustrious organization "Bikur Cholim-Yad Avraham". As is known, charitable organizations require vast sums of money to finance their sacred endeavors, and one who performs even a single action to benefit the organization harbors a share in all their activities of rescue and aid.

May all those who give generously be blessed from on high with abundant goodness and success, with boundless joy and gratification, with infinite heavenly aid and divine providence; and may we merit witnessing the ultimate redemption speedily in our days. Amen.
